Track What's Due

Use Library Elf to keep track of what's due and when

If you want to get email notification when your library materials (and those of other family members) are due, we recommend using the Library Elf website. This website is not affiliated with the Morris Area library system but they provide a great free service.

Here are the basics for signing up:

  1. Go to http://www.libraryelf.com

  2. Go to the book symbol about halfway down the page and click on Sign up today (free).

  3. Enter your email address, create a password and provide your name. You'll also need to agree to the Terms of Use policy.

  4. Enter the first and last name on your library card.

  5. When asked to choose a library, select NJ - Morris Automated Information Network  (this is our library consortium).

  6. Type your library card number (no spaces) and PIN and click Save.

  7. You can now add more library cards whose notifications will also be sent to the same email (this is a convenient way for families who use multiple library cards to keep track of what's due). When finished, click Continue to Step 3.

  8. Select how often you want to be notified, and click Finish to complete registration.

  9. A confirmation email will be sent to you. Click on the link in the email to activate your account.
