The Madison Public Library will be closed effective Monday, August 24 for approximately a week to 10 days for an asbestos abatement project. Staff will be available in the Library's Chase Auditorium so that the public can pick up books and media delivered from other libraries. The Library's bookdrop will remain open and staff will process the returned materials. The Chase Auditorium will be open Monday-Friday 10 am - 6 pm and Saturday 10 am - 1 pm. Madison Library cards may be used at the other public libraries in Morris County as well as Summit, New Providence, Berkeley Heights, Bernards Township and Bernardsville.
