Residents can receive up to $5,000 IN FINANCIAL INCENTIVES by installing energy efficient upgrades to your home (note, the incentives can not exceed 50% of the total project cost for eligible measures).

It is a simple process:
1.  Have a home audit (see what to expect below) performed by a participating firm (see NJ Clean Energy listed firms within 15 mis. of Madison and who have performed at least 50 Home Performance Projects below).
2. Select a contractor to price out the work.  The contractor will confirm estimated total energy savings based on the audit and proposed upgrades.
3. Sign a contract and get the upgrades completed.
4. Upon completion, the contractor submits the paperwork for your rebate (it can take up to 90 days to get the rebate).

ACT FAST!  This program is funded through June 30 of this year.  You should confirm with your contractor in writing that he will complete the work and submit the documentation before June 30! The program is being extended but funding is limited...
