Residential Tenant Parking Permit Application 2021

  3. The Borough of Madison offers Residential Tenant parking permits only to residents of a dwelling place as defined in § 134-1A:

    • Dwelling places within the Downtown Historic District
    • Other dwelling places specifically approved by Borough Council action based on past (grandfathered) necessity. Currently identified grandfathered dwelling places are:
    • 30 Central Avenue
    • 42 Cook Avenue
    • 44 Cook Avenue
    • 50 Cook Avenue
    • Apartment building at Green Avenue and Wilmer Street (southwest corner) - maximum of 10 permits
    • Dwelling places on the south side of Kings Road from Green Avenue west to 14 Kings Road
  4. Vehicle Information
    Applicants are able to enter vehicle information for up-to two (2) cars. Please note that this does not permit the parking of two cars at the same time. Each parked car requires it's own permit.

  6. In order to obtain a parking permit you will need to verify your Madison residency by uploading a copy of your valid New Jersey Drivers License.

    If you've just moved to Madison and your license does not reflect your Madison residency, please upload your most recent Madison Water/Electric Utility bill or a copy of your signed lease.

    All registrations will be checked through the Motor Vehicle Database.
