  1. President Who?

    February 12, 2019, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Helen Whitney Chase Auditorium

Tues, February 12, 7pm Please register. Standard programs for Presidents Day most likely include George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. BUT there are 45 presidents – or is it 44?  Now it’s time to remember the little-known Presidents of the United States. If anything, at least they fill in the holes of American history, and you will be able to determine why the headline question exists, and who inspired it. Included in this program are The Hole in the Donut; Benjamin Harrison; His Accidency, John Tyler; Franklin Pierce,(who didn’t even know he’d been nominated for President until he was told); Chester A. Arthur, a man with zero qualifications, who was nominated for Vice-President solely as a political expediency; and, of course, the ever popular Millard Fillmore. (Or is it Filmore?) Join us for more fun presidential facts!
