Medication Return

The Madison Police Department in conjunction with Morris County Prevention is Key accepts expired or unused prescription drugs.  

The “MedReturn” box, which was donated by Morris County Prevention is Key, is now stationed in the lobby of the Police Department and will allow residents to anonymously dispose of unwanted or expired prescription drugs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Residents and nonresidents can bring their medications to the Madison Police Headquarters located at 62 Kings Road, Madison, NJ 07940 (corner of Kings Road and Prospect Street) or find a local collection site on:  or
