Medication Return

2022 Med ReturnThe Madison Police Department in conjunction with Morris County Prevention is Key accepts expired or unused prescription drugs.  

The “MedReturn” box, which was donated by Morris County Prevention is Key, is now stationed in the lobby of the Police Department and will allow residents to anonymously dispose of unwanted or expired prescription drugs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On March 30, 2022 the "MedReturn" box exceeded 5,000 pounds of medication collected since its inception in June 2013. 

Residents and nonresidents can bring their medications to the Madison Police Headquarters located at 62 Kings Road, Madison, NJ 07940 (corner of Kings Road and Prospect Street) or find a local collection site on:
