Administrative Services

The administrative services play a vital role in the Madison Police Department. Regular office hours are 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Administrative Services Staff are civilian employees and follow the observed holidays that all other borough employees follow.


They handle a multitude of tasks including but not limited to:
  • Issuing temporary handicap placards
  • Sale of residential, commercial, merchant and tenant parking permits
  • Processing of firearms ID cards and permits to purchase handgun applications.
  • Residential alarm and billing
  • Solicitation permits
  • Verification of incident letters
  • Transcription of police officers reports, voluntary statements
  • Letters of good conduct
  • Record checks
  • Fingerprinting (Federal prints only)
  • Discovery Requests
