The administrative services play a vital role in the Madison Police Department. Regular office hours are 7 A.M. - 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. The Administrative Services Staff are civilian employees and follow the observed holidays that all other borough employees follow.
They handle a multitude of tasks including but not limited to:
Issuing temporary handicap placards;
Processing of firearms ID cards and permits to purchase handgun applications;
Residential alarm and billing;
Verification of incident letters;
Transcription of police officers reports, voluntary statements;
Letters of good conduct;
Fingerprinting (Federal prints only);
