Madison, NJ – April 7, 2022 – The EV Expo is coming back to Madison. On Earth Day, Friday, April 22, the eye-catching cars parked outside Sunday Motor Co. Café in Madison won’t be gas guzzlers. Last year’s EV Expo in Madison was a great success. Building on that, we will have a repeat performance on the afternoon of Earth Day, Friday, April 22 at Sunday Motor Co. Café in Madison.
Owner Nick Vorderman is collaborating with the Environmental Commissions of Madison, Chatham Borough and Chatham Township to host the event from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M.
Area car dealers will highlight their latest EV models and residents will share their experiences driving hot-off-the-assembly line models that include Tesla, Audi, Porsche, Polestar, VW, Mercedes, Toyota, Chevrolet, Karma and Volvo. Several brands of E-bicycles will also be on display.
“I love cars; I love racing,” says Vorderman. “It’s clear to me that EVs are the future—no doubt about it,” continued Vorderman. He points out that EV prices are coming down and technology is improving.
Madison Mayor Robert H. Conley says that, “Madison is very aware that the EV future is coming. In 2021, Madison installed 10 EV charging stations strategically placed throughout Madison, and 10 more have been purchased for installation soon. The Chatham’s have plans to install additional charging stations.”
Sunday Motor Co. Cafe is located at 27 Kings Road, Madison. Admission to the Expo is free and Sunday Motor Co. will serve a full menu and offer both indoor and outdoor seating.
