Troop 25 Holiday Reminders

December 17^th is our annual holiday party. In addition to entertainment and refreshments, we will have a gift grab bag. All scouts should bring a wrapped gift – scout-oriented – worth between $5 and $10. If you want to get a gift, bring a gift.

Remember two big events that are coming up:

In January, we have our cabin camp out – complete with Cub Scouts guests. This should be a lot of fun, and we’ve got a cabin with a stove and electricity (fancy stuff!). This trip is set for January 18 to 20. We want a lot of scouts to join us! Let your Patrol Leader know whether you’ll be there! Commitments due by January 7^TH.

On February 2^nd comes the Klondike Derby. This is a fun event to show how well you know your scout skills like fire starting, first aid, knots and lashings, teamwork and knowledge of scout history. The Derby is organized by Patrol, so each patrol needs to decide if it wants to go. Patrols must decide by December 17^th so that they can have time to prepare.
