As announced at the Court of Honor last week, we are having a Parents’ Meeting for all Troop parents on Monday, October 8^th in the Church at 7:30. This is especially important for parents of younger scouts.

At the meeting:

ü We will review the Scout program and how we are trying to deliver the program to the scouts, as well as outlining the Troop’s plans for the year

ü We will outline the structure of the Troop – who does what on the Committee, how the Boy Leadership is organized, etc.

ü We will review some of the specific policies adopted by the Troop Committee covering safety, financial and other issues

ü We will try to answer any questions that you may have and solicit any suggestions you may have for improving the Troop.

ü We will outline the ways in which parents can participate with their sons

Note that there will be a regular Troop meeting on the 8^th – the boys will meet downstairs while the parents meet upstairs.
