MVAC Pig Roast & Beer Garden Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps

The Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps will be hosting its first annual PIG ROAST & BEER GARDEN on September 29, 2012, from 4pm to 10pm, as part of its annual fundraising campaign. The event will be held at its facility at 29 Prospect St, Madison NJ, 07928. Food items on the menu will include roasted pig, pulled pork barbeque, barbecued chicken, corn bread, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, garden salad, cole slaw and water melon. Beer, sodas and water will also be available (ID must be presented at the door. There will be music and a 50-50 raffle. Tickets may be purchased in advance from our members, or order them by e-mailing Paul Rogers at STOOGES999@aol.com. You can also purchase them in advance on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/madisonambulance (Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps under the "events" tab). Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Come join us for a great evening of great food and fun, all to support great cause, the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps and its dedicated volunteers!

Blood Drive Tuesday, July 31 Masons Lodge No. 93

As you may know, NJ is facing a critical blood supply shortage for all blood types. The next regular Blood Drive at Madison Lodge is scheduled for Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. As has become a custom at recent drives, chili will be available for donors. Donors should be 17+ years of age (16 year olds can donate with parental permission), and they should also be in good health. As usual, please bring ID or Donor Card and eat a meal prior to donating. No appointment is necessary. Overflow parking is available at the Madison Junior School.

The pool will have extended hours as follows: 6/20: NOON-7:00 6/21: NOON-4:00 4:00-6:00 (CLOSED for 8th grade party) 6:00-7:00 6/22: NOON-1:00 1:00 - 3:00 (CLOSED for 5th grade party) 3:00 - 7:00

“An Evening in Paris” Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps

The Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps will be hosting a wine tasting on June 16, 2012 from 7pm to 10pm at their facility at 29 Prospect Street in Madison, as part of their annual fundraising efforts. The theme of the tasting is “An Evening in Paris”, which will include a variety of French wines, cheeses, breads and desserts. A blind taste challenge and door prizes will also be a part of the event. Come support the ambulance corps and celebrate a taste of France with your friends to help raise money for the dedicated volunteers of Madison Ambulance who serve the residents and visitors of Madison in their time of need. Ticket prices are $45 for individuals if purchased in advance, $50 at the door, and $40 each for a table of 10 if purchased in advance ($400 a table). Tickets are on sale now!! Volunteer Open House Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey

MADISON, NJ — The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is seeking volunteers to assist with ushering, concessions, and the Theatre’s gift shop for the Theatre’s 50th Anniversary Season which begins May 30th. The Shakespeare Theatre will hold a Volunteer Open House on Thursday, April 26 at 6 p.m. at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue, in Madison. Community members interested in volunteering are invited to attend this open house to find out more about The Shakespeare Theatre and volunteer opportunities; meet the professional management staff; mingle with veteran volunteers; and to learn about the 2012 Season from Artistic Director Bonnie J.
