A non-partisan organization, promoting political responsibility through informed and active participation in government.

The League of Women Voters of the Chatham-Madison Area serves Chatham, Madison and Florham Park. It is a branch of the national lobbying organization dedicated to influencing public policy through grassroots activism.

The League is always looking for new members. Members, say its representatives, can carry over their positive experiences with the League to their professional careers.

It holds some of its meetings at The Library of the Chathams.
