The Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps provides free emergency medical care to the residents and visitors of Madison 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Since its founding in 1954, we have helped over 50,000 patients and saved countless lives without charge to the patient or their insurance provider. In addition, we have provided numerous educational seminars and training to community groups and residents at no cost to the attendees.
Our organization’s sole funding is from generous contributions from businesses and residents such as you. The annual budget to operate our organization is over $170,000. After 15 years of rigorous service, each ambulance is replaced at an expense of $160,000.
Keep in mind that during these difficult economic times, the Corps is still dependent on your donation to continue this free and life saving community service. With your generous support we hope to reach our 2010 fund drive goal of $100,000 before the end of the year. Also, the Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and your donation may qualify as tax deductible.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to working with and for you throughout the year.
