All regular meetings are held at 7:30pm in the Madison Chase Room, at the Madison Public Library except as noted.  Admission is FREE!

25-Sep-2003    Stories from Madison -- Speaker: Eleanor Holden Stoddard.  Ms. Stoddard was born in Madison and is a descendant of the Britten and Webb families.  She is visiting from her home in Chevy Chase, MD to tell us about early Madison as she learned it from the stories and discussion passed down through the generations of her family.

20-Nov-2003  (NOTE SPECIAL TIME & PLACE)  Small Towns, Black Lives: African American Communities in Southern NJ -- Joint meeting of the Florham Park and Madison Historical Societies at the Morris Museum (6:30 to 8:00pm).

26-Feb-2004    History of Roses in Madison, Part I -- Speaker: Cathie Coultas.  Cathie Coultas, the Historical Society's Program Chairwoman, comes from a family of men and women involved in all aspects of the rose industry, from growing to marketing.  She and her family are an integral part of how Madison became "The Rose City."

25-Mar-2004    Memory of Roses -- Speaker: Carmine Toto and others.  Carmine Toto will show his "Greenhouse" video.  This will be followed by a panel discussion by former growers and marketers of roses in the Madison area..  Our moderator will be Bill Chemerka.  SPECIAL START TIME 7:00pm.
