Parent Committees

Equipment, Building and Repair: composed of a chairperson and approximately eight members. Their job is to take care of the indoor and outdoor repairs to toys and furnishings.

Hospitality: composed of a chairperson (board member) and approximately ten members. The co-chairpersons are responsible for arranging the set-up of chairs and tables for the two general membership meetings, and providing refreshments and cleanup. This committee organizes the Pot Luck Supper, the Father-Child Breakfast and the Mothers' Salad Luncheon.

Classroom Care: composed of a chairperson and ten-fifteen members. This committee is responsible for one minor cleanup before school starts in September and two major cleanups in February and June. The chairperson is also responsible for arranging to have the rugs cleaned twice during the year.

Ways and Means: composed of a chairperson (board position) and eight or more members who assist with such projects as the Little Artist Plates, the Garage Sale and other fund-raisers planned during the school year.

Newsletter: composed of two co-chairpersons who are responsible for collecting information, writing, producing and distributing the monthly school newsletter.

Playground Maintenance: composed of one or two chairpersons and approximately twelve members. They are responsible for a before school cleanup in September, November rake-up and a spring cleanup.

Class Mom: composed of one member from each class. Members call parents to remind them of general membership meetings, arrange for drivers for field trips, and for any other matters deemed necessary by the Board. Prepares the participation calendar for all classes.They may host coffees for their child's class during the school year.

Tiny Tots: composed of a chairperson and one member who are responsible for coordinating concert dates with the Co-op, the Church and the surrounding schools.

Pet Care is comprised of a chairperson who is responsible for the care of the pet, including cleaning, feeding and maintaining the cage. The chairperson will contact, schedule and confirm volunteers to complete such jobs and will also arrange for the pet's vacation.
