EBSCOhost* indexes 3,000 magazines of which 1,900 are full text.  You can save/print copies of the articles.  It also includes health, business and children's databases and short records for businesses from Dun & Bradstreet.

INFOTRAC*  indexes and provides full text for the New York Times, Newark Star Ledger, the  Bergen Record, the Los Angeles Times and The Times (London). 

PROQUEST provides access to full-text journals across a wide range of subject areas, including business, education, literature, political science and psychology.

REFERENCE USA *  This U.S. company database contains contact information and profile data for 12 million companies. Listings are searchable and sortable by business name, location, yellow page heading, SIC code and size of operation. Good tool for creating target lists of prospective employers.

PROQUEST HISTORICAL NEWSPAPERS   NEW YORK TIMES  from 1851 to 2006  You can click through the New York Times from cover to cover, or search by topic, date, or article type (article, photo, comic, birth/death/marriage notice, display ad, film review, etc.). The historical  New York Times presents firsthand accounts and opinions that bring history to life.  The birth/death/marriage notices are an excellent tool for genealogical searching for those who lived in the New York City area.

FACTS ON FILE * This megadatabase, provided to you through the New Jersey State Library and your regional library system, includes:
 
    Curriculum Resource Center  is for middle school, high school, and junior college teachers and students. It  includes printable handouts for the classroom covering subjects such as science diagrams and experiments sports rules, historical timelines, maps, and math problems in algebra, geometry and calculus.
 
    Curriculum Resource Center: Junior Edition is a version of the CRC for elementary school teachers and students.

    History Database Center   includes American History, World History, American Women's History, African- American History & Culture, American Indian History & Culture, Ancient History & Culture

    Science Online  includes science biographies, essays, definitions, diagrams, experiments, and a timeline.

    World Atlas   in addition to geographic maps there are thematic maps with demographics, education, energy,and politics. There are also charts which rank and compare states and countries.

EBSCO  and then choose Health Source for Academic/Nursing or Consumer editions, and Clinical Pharmacology. Full-text databases OVID (50 medical journals) and CINAHL(2,719 titles in nursing and health sciences) can be used, in person, at Drew, County College and College of St. Elizabeth, through state funding of the NJ Knowlege Initiative

LITERARY REFERENCE CENTER  provides a "reference shelf" with a literary historical timeline, an encyclopedia of literature, a dictionary, citation help, and a research guide. There are also author biographies, literary criticism, and "book highlight" which examines various literary themes.

LITERATURE RESOURCE CENTER   Direct access to biographies, bibliographies, journal articles and critical analysis of more than 120,00 authors and their works.
