When can I get a library card? When you
are 5 years old and can write your name on the registration card. How many books can I take and how long can I keep them? Most of
the time, if you live in Madison, you can check out as many books as you like. Our books
go out for 2 or 4 weeks -- we'll give you a card so you'll know.
What if my book is late? You have
to pay a fine each day your book is late.
Can I take a video home? Yes, but
mom and dad must check it out. Each video costs $1.00.
Do you have a computer I can use? We have
several! Some to help you find information you can print out, and even a few games!
Is there anything special going on? Click on
our calendar to see our programs.
Can my mom or dad drop me off at the library? If you're
over 7 you may pay us a visit without your mom or dad. Younger children should always be
with mom or dad.
When can I come to hear a story? Have your
mom or dad check our storytime schedule so you can join us
for some fun!
Are babies welcome in the library? Yes! We
have board books and stuffed toys for your baby to play with. We even have a diaper
changing table! |
