MADISON ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE OF DECISION

 

TAKE NOTICE that at the regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Madison held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 7:30 P.M., in the Board Room of the Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, NJ, the Board took the following action: 

 

MINUTES FOR APPROVAL – Regular Meeting of 7/10/08 was adopted as modified.  

 

RESOLUTIONS  

CASE NO. Z-08-17- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Marty and Kristina Putenis, Block

0208, Lot 14, 37 Fairwood Road, Madison was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-19- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Mike and Anne Biedermann, Block 4004, Lot 14, 131 Woodland Road, Madison was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-20- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Andrew and Jerri Girvin, Block 0902, Lot 24, 25 Longview Avenue, Madison was adopted.

 

APPLICATIONS

CASE NO. Z-08-18- Application of Thomas and Christina Haralampoudis, Block 4001, Lot 7, 27 Pomeroy

Road, Madison, for the removal of a portion of existing 2-story dwelling and replacement with larger addition,

converting dwelling from having a front loading attached 2 car garage to a side loading 3 car garage; driveway

re-alignment, rear patio, rear deck, retaining walls, stairs and walkways on property. Application amended after initial hearing to limit variance relief to driveway grades and retaining wall setback. The amended application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the September 11, 2008 meeting.

    

CASE NO. Z-08-21- Application of Laura Costello,  Block 907, Lot 1.01, 87 Greenwood Avenue, Madison,

to construct proposed 2nd story addition onto the existing single family dwelling on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum rear yard setback requirement. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the September 11, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-22- Application of Steven Akian, Block 3301, Lot 23, 39 Laurel Way, Madison, to construct proposed 1 story rear addition and front porch extension onto the existing single family dwelling on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback, minimum rear yard setback, maximum principal building coverage and maximum impervious lot coverage requirements. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the September 11, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-23- Application of Joseph and Sandra Manning, Block 4502, Lot 17, 15 Fox Chase Road, Madison, to construct proposed front porch and cantilevered 2nd story addition onto the existing single family dwelling on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback, minimum side yard setback and minimum rear yard setback requirements. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the September 11, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-24- Application of John and Bernadine Barilla, Block 2304, Lot 3, 41 Niles Avenue, Madison, to construct one story addition onto the rear of the existing single family dwelling on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum side yard setback (Left), maximum principal building coverage and maximum impervious lot coverage requirements. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the September 11, 2008 meeting.
