MADISON ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE OF DECISION

TAKE NOTICE that at the regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Madison held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 7:30 P.M., in the Board Room of the Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, NJ, the Board took the following action: 

 

MINUTES FOR APPROVAL – Regular Meeting of 4/10/08 was adopted as modified.  

 

RESOLUTIONS FOR MEMORIALIZATION

CASE NO. Z-07-48 Resolution granting the Variance Application of Joseph Seneca, Seneca Cooke

Enterprises, LLC, Block 1107, Lots 15 & 16, 27 South Street, Madison was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-05 – Resolution granting the Variance Application of Barry Burd, Block 0701, Lot 1.01,

198 Rosedale Avenue, Madison was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-07 – Resolution granting the Variance Application of Alex Sze, Block 4802, Lot 2,

33 Barnsdale Road, Madison was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-11- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Jack and Ellen Kranefuss, Block 0901, Lot 31, 49 Longview Avenue, Madison was adopted.

 

APPLICATIONS

CASE NO. Z-07-42- Application of Christopher & Kris Leone, Block 2101, Lot 4, 20 Highland Avenue, Madison, to disturb areas of critical slope as per code 195-41.2.C in order to construct the proposed rear yard

retaining wall on property, requiring Variance relief from the Critical Slope (25% or greater) Disturbance requirements. Application was amended to request permission to construct a retaining wall having a maximum height of approximately seven feet with an open fence on top approximately 4’ in height, or a combined height for the wall and fence of 6’ is permitted. Pursuant to Section 195-25.5B2. The Board voted to deny the application. Action to be memorialized at the June 12, 2008 meeting.  

 

CASE NO. Z-08-12- Application of Mathew and Meagan Faraher, Block 1105, Lot 7, 14 Anthony Drive,

Madison, to construct proposed 2nd story addition, 2 ˝ story addition to the existing dwelling and driveway modifications on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback, maximum principal building coverage and maximum impervious lot coverage requirements. The Board carried the application to the regular meeting on June 12, 2008, per the applicant’s request for continuation of the public hearing that was started at the meeting on April 10, 2008.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-13- Application of James Rae and Jeanine Wiss, Block 2401, Lot 20, 6 Samson Avenue,

Madison, to construct proposed 2nd story addition to the existing dwelling on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback requirements. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the June 12, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-14- Application of Bruce and Loretta Simmons, Block 2102, Lot 8, 42 Rosedale Avenue,

Madison, for the construction of a wood framed roof, over the existing deck, attached to the rear of the house on property, requiring Variance relief from the maximum impervious lot coverage requirements. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the June 12, 2008 meeting.

  

All applications, plans and resolutions of the Zoning Board are on file and available for public inspection in the Office of the Administrative Official, Land Use Services, during regular business hours Monday through Friday, at the second floor, Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, New Jersey.
