ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

 

 

TAKE NOTICE, that at the regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Madison held on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 7:30 pm, in the Board Room of the Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, NJ, the Board took the following action: 

 

MINUTES-Re-Organization Meeting Minutes of 1/10/08 was adopted as edited and the Regular Meeting Minutes of 1/10/08 was adopted as edited.

 

RESOLUTIONS

CASE NO. Z-07-40- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Stephen & Nola Gephart, Block 0203, Lot 10, 2 Forest Road, Madison, to construct proposed 1 story addition, covered porch, patio and walkways on property was adopted. 

 

CASE NO. Z-07-41- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Gregg Everett & Mary Storella, Block 4315, Lot 7, 181 Green Village Road, Madison, to construct proposed 2 story addition and Paver Patio on property was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-07-43- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Andrew & Ann Haugh, Block 4803, Lot 15, 14 Sinclair Terrace, Madison, to construct proposed 2nd story addition, deck and driveway realignment on property was adopted.

 

APPLICATIONS

CASE NO. Z-07-44- Application of Ted & Sheila Rostiac, Block 1102, Lot 23, 32 Wayne Boulevard, Madison, to construct proposed new 2nd story addition above an existing 1 ˝ story dwelling with an unenclosed front porch on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback and minimum side yard setback requirements. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the March 13, 2008 meeting. 

 

CASE NO. Z-07-46- Application of David J. Hart, Block 0803, Lot 2, 18 West End Avenue, Madison,

to construct proposed 2nd story addition (including 1st Floor “In-fill”, front porch overhang, Brick Paver Patio, existing driveway re-alignment on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback, minimum right side yard setback and maximum principal building coverage requirements. The

application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the March 13, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-07-47- Application of James & Janet Foster, Block 3701, Lot 26, 27 Maple Avenue, Madison, to erect proposed new-detached garage with a roof ridge higher than permitted for accessory buildings on property, requiring Variance relief from the maximum accessory building height requirements. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the March 13, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-07-48 - Application of Joseph Seneca, Seneca Cooke Enterprises, LLC, Block 1107,

Lots 15 & 16, 27 South Street, Madison for the construction of a new two-family dwelling on Lot 16, Block 1107, with proposed parking in the rear of the building. Variance approval is being sought for proposed driveway/parking lot and existing pavement removal on property, requiring Variance relief

from the maximum impervious lot coverage, minimum driveway setback, minimum lot width and minimum lot area within 125’ of R.O.W. requirements. The Board carried the application to the next

regular meeting on March 13, 2008 for the initial public hearing. No further notice is required.

February 7, 2008

 

CASE NO. Z-07-49- Application of Robert and Bonnie Layton, Block 4703, Lot 8, 102 Woodland Road, Madison, to construct proposed 1 story addition and expansion of existing deck on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum side yard setback (right), minimum rear yard setback and maximum principal building coverage requirements. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the March 13, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-01- Application of Profile Properties, L.L.C., Block 3904, Lot 16, 21 Norman

Circle, Madison, requesting Variance Approval for the existing non-conforming “Vertical Expansion”,

proposed in-ground pool, pool house and paver patio on property located in a R-2 (Single Family

Residential) Zone District, requiring Variance relief from the minimum rear yard setback and maximum

impervious lot coverage requirements. The Board carried the application to the next regular meeting on March 13, 2008 for the initial public hearing. No further notice is required.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-02- Application of Joseph and Sandra Manning, Block 4502, Lot 17, 15 Fox Chase

Road, Madison, to construct proposed 1 story addition to the rear of the existing dwelling on property,

requiring Variance relief from the minimum rear yard setback requirements. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the March 13, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z08-03- Application of Joseph and Mary Jane Burns, Block 3002, Lot 5, 8 Stafford Drive, Madison, to construct proposed 2 story addition to the existing dwelling, construct masonry patio and front portico on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback, maximum principal building coverage and maximum impervious lot coverage requirements. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the March 13, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-08-04- Application of Bill and Maria Scavone, Block 302 Lot 8, 25 Ardsleigh Drive,

Madison, to construct proposed second floor bedroom addition to the existing dwelling on property,

requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback and maximum impervious lot coverage requirements. The Board carried the application to the next regular meeting on March 13, 2008 for the initial public hearing. No further notice is required.                                                   

 

All applications, plans and resolutions of the Zoning Board are on file and available for public inspection in the Office of the Administrative Official, Land Use Services, during regular business hours Monday through Friday, at the second floor, Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, New Jersey.
