ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

NOTICE OF DECISIONS

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that at a special meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Madison on Thursday, January 31, 2008 in the Board Room of the Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, the board took the following action:

RESOLUTIONS 

CASE NO. Z –07-33- Resolution denying the Variance Application of Mark and Heather Bochner, Block 910, Lot 6, 6 Hamilton Street, Madison was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-07-34- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Michael and Wendy Brett, Block 4205,

Lot 2, 5 Hillcrest Road, Madison was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-07-36- Resolution granting the Application of Joseph & Florence DeMarzo, Block 2901,

Lots 16 & 17, 11-15 Wilmer Street, Madison, for Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan Approval, “d” Variance Approval and Associated Variances was adopted. 

 

CASE NO. Z-07-39- Resolution denying the Variance Application of John and Megan Fetterly, Block 3701,

Lot 34, 43 Maple Avenue, Madison was adopted.

 

APPLICATIONS

CASE NO. Z-07-45 - Application of St. Vincent Martyr Church, Block 2801, Lot 8, 26 Green Village Road, Madison, for Preliminary and Final Site Plan Approval, Conditional Use Variance and Associated Variance  Approval. The Board scheduled a special meeting for the application for Monday, February 11, 2008

at 7:30 P.M.       

 

CASE NO. Z-07-40- Application of Stephen & Nola Gephart, Block 0203, Lot 10, 2 Forest Road, Madison, to construct proposed 1 story addition, covered porch, patio and walkways on property. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the February 7, 2008 meeting. 

 

CASE NO. Z-07-41- Application of Gregg Everett & Mary Storella, Block 4315, Lot 7, 181 Green Village Road, Madison, to construct proposed 2 story addition and Paver Patio on property. The application was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the February 7, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-07-42- Application of Christopher & Kris Leone, Block 2101, Lot 4, 20 Highland Avenue, Madison, to disturb areas of critical slope as per code 195-41.2.C in order to construct the proposed rear yard retaining wall on property, requiring Variance relief from the Critical Slope (25% or greater) Disturbance requirements. The application was partially heard and carried to the regular meeting on March 13, 2008 for

further proceedings. 

 

CASE NO. Z-07-43- Application of Andrew & Ann Haugh, Block 4803, Lot 15, 14 Sinclair Terrace, Madison,

to construct proposed 2nd story addition, deck and driveway realignment on property. The application was

approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the February 7, 2008 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-07-44- Application of Ted & Sheila Rostiac, Block 1102, Lot 23, 32 Wayne Boulevard, Madison, to construct proposed new 2nd story addition above an existing 1 ˝ story dwelling with an unenclosed front porch on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback and minimum side yard setback requirements. The Board carried the application to the regular meeting on February 7, 2008 for the initial public hearing. 

 

CASE NO. Z-07-46- Application of David J. Hart, Block 0803, Lot 2, 18 West End Avenue, Madison,

to construct proposed 2nd story addition (including 1st Floor “In-fill”, front porch overhang, Brick Paver Patio, existing driveway re-alignment on property, requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback, minimum right side yard setback and maximum principal building coverage requirements. The Board carried the application to the regular meeting on February 7, 2008 for the initial public hearing.

Z-07-47- Application of James & Janet Foster, Block 3701, Lot 26, 27 Maple Avenue, Madison, to erect proposed new-detached garage with a roof ridge higher than permitted for accessory buildings on property, requiring Variance relief from the maximum accessory building height requirements.
