MADISON ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE OF DECISION

 

TAKE NOTICE, that at the regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Madison held on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 7:30 pm, in the Board Room of the Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, NJ, the Board took the following action: 

 

RESOLUTIONS FOR MEMORIALIZATION

CASE NO. Z-06-06- Resolution granting the Rear Yard Setback Variance Application of Jo

Ann Hansen and Alan Reid, Block 4801, Lot 21,41 Winding Way, Madison, for the construction

of a second-story addition to the existing home was adopted. The approval is subject to lot

coverage variance. 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-11- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Thomas and Connie Donvito,

Block 0802, Lot 16, 7 Seven Oaks Circle, Madison, for construction of deck with less than required

minimum rear yard setback was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-06-10 -Resolution granting the Variance Application of Rick Schrager, Block 3601,

Lot 10, 1 Wilson Lane, Madison, for construction to replace existing deck that is in a hazardous

condition was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-06-09 –Resolution granting the Variance Application of Val Schuszler, Block 3001,

Lot 32, 17 Stafford Drive, Madison, for construction of a second-story addition to a single-family

residence that encroaches into the front yard setback was adopted.

 

APPLICATIONS

CASE NO. Z-06-06Continued proceedings were held on the second portion of the Variance Application of Jo Ann Hansen and Alan Reid, Block 4801, Lot 21, 41 Winding Way, Madison, involving a variance for the existing impervious lot coverage ratio of 29%. The applicant requested additional time to provide figures as to the amount of coverage for the additional improvements. The Board concluded that such information was required in order to render a decision on the variance request and carried the application to the May 11, 2006 meeting for further proceedings. No further notice is required.

 

CASE NO. Z-06-05- Continued proceedings were held on the revised plans submitted for the

Application of Todd and John Racioppi, Racioppi Construction Co., Inc., Block 1109, Lot 1, 24 South Street, Madison, to construct proposed two-story, two-family dwelling on property located in a R-4 (2-Family) Zone District, requiring Variance relief from minimum front yard setback requirements. The application was carried to the May 11, 2006 meeting at the request of the applicant for the submission of further revised plans to eliminate the need for parking variances. No further notice is required.       

 

CASE NO. Z-06-13- Variance Application of Matthew and Michele Brennan, Block 3405, Lot 4, 126 Loantaka Way, Madison, to construct proposed Brick Paver Patio on property located in a R-1 Zone District, requiring Variance relief from maximum impervious lot coverage requirements. The application

was approved subject to memorialization at the May 11, 2006 meeting.

 

CASE NO. Z-06-14- Variance Application of Douglas and Louisa Eilender, Block 4206, Lot 6, 91 Prospect Street, Madison, to construct a one-story addition for  mudroom/breakfast room on property located in a R-2 Zone District, requiring Variance relief from maximum principal building coverage requirements. The application was approved subject to memorialization at the May 11, 2006 meeting.

CASE NO. Z-06-15-Variance Application of Nancy and Jeff Dupree, Block 0603, Lot 1, 34 Hoyt Street,

Madison, to construct proposed two-story addition to existing dwelling on property located in a R-3 Zone

District, requiring Variance relief from minimum front yard setback (Hoyt Street and Fairview Avenue)

and minimum rear yard setback requirements. The application was partially heard and carried for submission of more detailed plans. At the request of the applicant, the application was carried to the

June meeting. No further notice is required.

 

CASE NO. Z-06-16-Variance Application of John Slater, Block 0305, Lot 5, 37 Rosemont Avenue, Madison, to construct proposed 1 story addition to existing dwelling on property located in a R-3 Zone District, requiring Variance relief from maximum principal building coverage and maximum impervious lot coverage requirements. The application was carried to the May 11, 2006 meeting. No further notice is required.

 

CASE NO. Z-06-17-Variance Application of John Driscoll, Block 1902, Lot 14, 45 Greenwood

Avenue, Madison, to construct the proposed unenclosed front porch to existing dwelling on property located in a R-4 Zone District, requiring Variance relief from minimum front yard setback requirements.

The application was carried to the May 11, 2006 meeting. No further notice is required.

 

CASE NO. Z-06-18-Variance Application of Steven & Robin Flood, Block 1101, Lot 15, 9 Wayne

Boulevard, Madison to construct proposed 2nd story and 1 story addition to the existing dwelling on property located in a R-3 Zone District, requiring Variance relief from minimum front yard setback, minimum rear yard setback and maximum impervious lot coverage requirements. The application was carried to the May 11, 2006 meeting. No further notice is required. 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-19- Variance Application of Dana & Angus Miller, Block 3404, Lot 18, 14 Glenwild

Road, Madison, to construct the proposed  1 story, 2 story and 2nd story additions to the existing dwelling on property located in a R-3 Zone District, requiring Variance relief from minimum front yard setback, minimum side yard setback (Left and Right) and maximum principal building coverage requirements.  The application was carried to the May 11, 2006 meeting. No further notice is required.

 

All resolutions of the Zoning Board are on file and available for public inspection in the Office of the Administrative Official, Land Use Services, during regular business hours Monday through Friday, at the second floor, Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, New Jersey.
