MADISON ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE OF DECISION

 

 MARCH 9, 2006

 

TAKE NOTICE, that at the meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Madison held on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 7:30 pm, in the Board Room of the Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, NJ the Board took the following action: 

 

 

RESOLUTIONS: 

 

CASE NO. Z-05-65-Resolution granting the Variance Application of James and Alvina Pedicini,

Block 901, Lot 40, 56 Sherwood Avenue, Madison to construct a proposed one-story addition and deck on property located in a R-3 Zone District was adopted. 

 

CASE NO. Z-05-66- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Pascal and Sandra Gaurin, Block 905, Lot 5, 40 Longview Avenue, Madison, to construct a proposed two-story addition, driveway modifications and paver patio on property located in a R-3 Zone District was adopted. 

 

CASE NO. Z-05-63- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Matthew and Renee Ferris, Block 1106, Lot 16, 107 Park Avenue, Madison, for a proposed parking area on property located in a R-4 Zone District was adopted. 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-01- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Sean and Chiara Mayer, Block 3803, Lot 39, 12 Pomeroy Road, Madison, to construct a one-story addition and walkway to the rear of the existing dwelling, modification to the existing deck on property located in a R-2 Zone District was adopted.

CASE NO. Z-05-60, Eduardo and Matilde Cariello, Block 0307, Lot 17, 5 Crestwood Drive, R-3 Zone

Application requesting permission to construct proposed 2nd story addition onto the existing single family dwelling requiring Variance relief was approved with the submission of revised plans   A resolution will be memorialized at the next regular meeting. 

 

CASE NO. Z-05-67

David and Theresa Blackwell, Block 3702, Lot 36, 6 Washington Drive, R-2 Zone

Application requesting permission to construct proposed one-story addition and stone patio requiring Variance relief was approved as revised.  A resolution will be memorialized at the next regular meeting. 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-02, Anne Marie Pinkowitz, Block 307, Lot 12, 21 Crestwood Drive, R-3 Zone

Application requesting permission to construct a second-story addition onto the existing dwelling requiring variance relief was dismissed due to changes in the application which removed variance requirements


 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-03, Kent and Terry Ziegler, Block 0907, Lot 1, 93 Greenwood Avenue, R-3 Zone

Application requesting permission to construct 2nd story addition and in-ground pool and accessory structure within “front yard” on property requiring Variance relief was approved by the Board as revised.  A resolution will be memorialized at the next regular meeting. 

 

CASE NO. Z-05-61, Betty Hoskins, Block 0209, Lot 12, 115 Madison Avenue, R-3 Zone

Application requesting permission to construct proposed one and two-story additions onto the existing dwelling requiring Variance relief was carried to the special meeting of April 6, 2006. 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-04, Daniel and Pauline Bliss, Block 0901, Lot 57, 3 Valevue Avenue, R-3 Zone

Application requesting permission to construct proposed one-story rear addition was approved by the Board as revised.  A resolution will be memorialized at the next regular meeting. 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-12, Peter and Ann Marie Battaglia, Block 4004, Lot 4, 91 Pomeroy Road, R-2 Zone

Application requesting permission to construct a second-story addition on the existing, attached garage was approved by the Board approved as revised.  A resolution will be memorialized at the next regular meeting. 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-05, Todd and John Racioppi, Racioppi Construction Co., Inc., Block 1109, Lot 1, 24 South Street, R-4 Zone

Application requesting permission to construct proposed two-story, two-family dwelling on property requiring Variance relief was carried to the April 13, 2006 regular meeting. 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-11, Thomas and Connie Donvito, Block 0802, Lot 16, 7 Seven Oaks Circle, R-3 Zone

Application requesting permission to construct a deck requiring rear yard setback variance was carried to a special meeting scheduled for April 6, 2006.

Application requesting permission to construct a second-story addition to existing home requiring rear yard setback variance was carried to a special meeting scheduled for April 6, 2006.

Application requesting a variance be granted for an oversized free-standing business sign.  Carried to a special meeting scheduled for April 6, 2006. 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-10, Rick Schrager, Block, 3601, Lot 10, 1 Wilson Lane, R-2 Zone

Application requesting permission to replace existing deck requiring rear year set back variance was carried to a special meeting scheduled for April 6, 2006. 

 

CASE NO. Z-06-09, Val Schuszler, Block, 3001, Lot 32, 17 Stafford Drive, R-2 Zone
