MADISON ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE OF DECISION

 

 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that at the regular meeting held by the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Madison on Monday, December 5, 2005, in the Board Room of the Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, the following action was taken:

 

Approval of Minutes- Minutes of the regular meeting of 11/21/05 was adopted as corrected.

 

RESOLUTIONS

CASE NO. Z –05-50 Resolution granting the Variance Application of Kevin and Barbara

Fennelly, Block 0913, Lot 1, 53 Valley Road, Madison was adopted.

   

CASE NO. Z-05-51- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Glenn and Trudy

Cianci, Block 0901, Lot 58, 1 Valevue Road, Madison was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-05-53- Resolution denying the Zoning Appeal and Variance Application of

Frank and Patricia Wulff, Block 3901, Lot 40, 267 Kings Road, Madison was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-05-55- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Brian M. Clark,

Block 802, Lot 10, 21 Seven Oaks Circle, Madison was adopted.

 

CASE NO. Z-05-57- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Janet Ciavatta,

Block 504, Lot 5, 15 Buckingham Drive, Madison was adopted.

 

OLD BUSINESS             

 

CASE NO. Z-05-42- Variance Application of Samuel and Theresa Romano, Block 4001,

Lot 25, 29 West Lane, Madison, to construct proposed 2 ˝ Story Single Family Dwelling

on property located in a R-2 Zone District, requiring Variance relief from the minimum side

yard setback and maximum “Moderate” Slope Disturbance requirements. The application

was carried to the next regular meeting on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 for further proceedings per the request of the applicants’ attorney. No further notice is required.

 

CASE NO. Z-05-58- Variance Application of Shant and Jeanne Pepitone Harootunian, Block 4003, Lot 7, 9 East Lane, Madison, to construct proposed 1 story addition and 2nd story addition to the existing single family dwelling located in a R-2 Zone District, requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback, minimum side yard setback, minimum rear yard setback, maximum principal building coverage and maximum impervious lot coverage was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the Tuesday, January 10, 2006 meeting.     

    

CASE NO. Z-05-54- Variance Application of Michael and Janet O’Connell, Block 4001, Lot 39,

207 Woodland Road, Madison to construct the proposed 2nd story, 2-story addition, patio, Walkway and steps onto the existing single family dwelling on property located in a R-1 Zone District, requiring Variance relief from the maximum impervious lot coverage was approved subject to certain conditions and submission of revised plans. Action to be memorialized at the

Tuesday, January 10, 2006 meeting.

 

 

 

 

 

Zoning Board Decisions

December 5, 2005

 

CASE NO. Z-05-56- Zoning Appeal to reverse action of Code Enforcement Official and Variance Relief Application of Scott Ponder, Block 3404, Lot 23, 123 Green Village Road, Madison to allow a six-foot high fence to remain on property in the front yard on property

that is a corner lot with two front yards located in a R-3 Zone District seeking relief from

the particular section of the Madison Land Development Code Section 19.5-25.5B.which addresses fence heights and locations. The application was partially heard and carried to the Tuesday, January 10, 2006 meeting for further proceedings and the submission of a

revised survey or plan.  

 

OTHER BUSINESS- The Board tentatively changed the date of the regular meetings in 2006 from the third Monday to the second Tuesday of each month, subject to formal action on the annual meeting schedule at the Tuesday, January 10, 2006 re-organization meeting.
