MADISON ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE OF DECISION

 

    PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that at a regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Madison held on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 7:30 PM, in the Board Room of the Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison, the following action was taken:

 

Approval of Minutes- Regular Meeting Minutes of 5/16/2005 was approved as corrected.

 

       RESOLUTIONS FOR MEMORIALIZATION

             CASE NO. Z-05-10 Resolution approving the Variance Application of Robert and Lee Ann

             O’Donnell, Block 2101, Lot 8, 78 Brittin Street, Madison was adopted as corrected.

            

             CASE NO. Z-05-11 Resolution denying the Variance Application of Donald and Sandra Motley,

             Block 4311, Lot 4, 26 Alma Avenue, Madison was adopted.

 

             CASE NO. Z-05-15- Resolution approving the Variance Application of Charles and Jeanne

             Horsey, Block 1901, Lot 18, 38 Grove Street, Madison was adopted.

 

             CASE NO. Z-05-17 Resolution approving the Variance Application of Matthew and Michele

             Brennan, Block 3902, Lot 10, 6 Kensington Road, Madison was adopted.

 

            CASE NO. Z-5-18 Resolution approving the Variance Application of David Mortazavi and

            Rebecca Bedno, Block 0904, Lot 11, 9 Longview Avenue, Madison was adopted.

 

            OLD BUSINESS

            CASE NO. Z-05-16- Variance Application of Leon L.Yang, Block 3701, Lot 32, 39 Maple

            Avenue, Madison was approved as revised subject to certain conditions to be incorporated into

            the resolution. Action to be memorialized at the Tuesday, July 19, 2005 meeting.

 

            CASE NO. Z-05-19- Variance Application of John and Nina Glynn, Block 4001, Lot 2,

            3 Pomeroy Road, Madison was approved with certain conditions to be incorporated into the

            resolution. Action to be memorialized at the Tuesday, July 19, 2005 meeting. 

 

           CASE NO. Z-05-20- Variance Application of Gregory Saint-James Vigeant, Block 2204, Lot 6,

           1 Spring Garden Drive, Madison requesting permission to allow improved, exact replacement four

           foot high fence to remain in place in the front yard (Spring Garden Drive, corner of Rosedale

           Avenue) on property located in a R-3 Zone District. The Variance relief sought is for the height of

           fence in front yard in violation of Section 195-25.5B and Section 195-25.5.C(5), which states that

           the finished side of a fence shall face adjacent property owners. The application was carried to the

           Tuesday, July 19, 2005 meeting at the request of the applicant for initial public hearing. No

           further notice is required.

 

           NEW BUSINESS

           CASE NO. Z-05-21- Variance Application of Daniel Matthews and Mindy Jaslove, Block 3805,

           Lot 12, 4 Albright Circle, Madison requesting permission to construct a proposed 2nd story addition

           and 2 story addition onto the existing dwelling located in a R-2 Zone District, requiring Variance

           relief from maximum principal building coverage was approved subject to certain conditions.

           Action to be memorialized at the Tuesday, July 19, 2005 meeting.

     CASE NO. Z-05-22 –Variance Application of Thomas and Pamela Giannone, Block 3701, Lot 9,

      44 Green Avenue, Madison requesting permission to construct proposed 1st story Cantilevered

      Principal Building Addition onto the existing dwelling located in a R-2 Zone District, requiring

      Variance relief from minimum side yard setback, minimum yard encroachment, maximum principal

      building coverage and maximum impervious coverage was carried at the request of the applicant

      to the Tuesday, July 19, 2005 meeting for initial public hearing. No further notice is required.

 

      CASE NO. Z-05-23 -Variance Application of Anthony and Sandra Maccario, Block 1104, Lot 21,

      12 Myrtle Avenue, Madison requesting permission to erect a 2 story dwelling located in a R-3 Zone

      District, requiring Variance relief from minimum side yard setback (right) and maximum principal

      building coverage was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the

      Tuesday, July 19, 2005 meeting.

      

      CASE NO. Z-05-24 -Variance Application of Mark and Laura Burgess, Block 0209, Lot 5.09,

       6 Wisteria Court, Madison requesting permission to construct a proposed open air-uncovered porch

       and wood deck onto the existing two story dwelling located in a R-3 Zone District, requiring

      Variance relief from minimum rear yard setback was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to

       be memorialized at the Tuesday, July 19, 2005 meeting.

 

       CASE NO. Z-05-26 -Variance Application of Brian and Laura Agnew, Block 4003, Lot 6,

       15 East Lane, Madison requesting permission to construct a new 2-1/2 Story Dwelling on property

       1ocated in a R-2 Zone District, requiring Variance relief from minimum front yard setback,

       minimum side yard setback and minimum rear yard setback was carried to the Tuesday, July 19,

       2005 meeting.

 

       CASE NO. Z-05-28 Variance Application of Kim Christiansen, Block 0208, Lot 22, 11 Fairwood

       Road, Madison requesting permission to construct proposed second story and modification to

       existing front stoop overhang onto the existing dwelling on property located in a R-3 Zone

       District, requiring Variance relief from minimum front yard setback, minimum side yard

       Setback (Right) was carried to the Tuesday, July 19, 2005 meeting.
