ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

                 NOTICE OF DECISIONS

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at a regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment

of the Borough of Madison, held on Monday, August 16, 2004, at 7:30 PM, in the Board Room

of the Hartley Dodge Memorial Building, Kings Road, Madison, New Jersey, the following

action was taken:

 

             Minutes for Approval

            Regular Meeting Minutes for 07/20/04 was adopted as corrected.

 

            RESOLUTIONS FOR MEMORIALIZATION

            CASE NO. Z-04-06- Resolution approving the Application of Bruce D. MacDougall,

             Block 1001, Lot 30, 68 Central Avenue, Madison was adopted.

        

            CASE NO. Z-04-23- Resolution approving the Application of William and Joan Johnson,

             Block 3601, Lot 32,14 Green Hill Road, Madison was adopted.

 

            CASE NO. Z-04-20-Resolution approving the Application of William J. and Julie A.

             McGurn, Block 0203, Lot 13, 12 Forest Road, Madison was adopted.

 

            OLD BUSINESS

            CASE NO. Z-04-26- Application of Leslie and Kathleen Hollander, Block 4804, Lot 15

            14 Barnsdale Road, Madison requesting permission to construct a one-story addition, second

            story Addition, Front Foyer, 2-level deck and Brick Paver Walkway was approved subject to

            certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the next meeting.

 

            CASE NO. Z-04-27-Application of Michael and Katherine Dailey, Block 0803, Lot 3,

            20 West End Avenue, Madison requesting permission to construct a second story addition,

            one-story addition and FlagStone Patio was approved subject to certain conditions. Action

            to be memorialized at the next meeting.

            

            CASE NO. Z-04-29-Application of Daniel and Madeline Baulig, Block 0906, Lot 9, 8 Longview

            Avenue, Madison, requesting permission to construct a second story addition was approved

            subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the next meeting.

 

            CASE NO. Z-04-30-Application of Nancy Northrup and Allen Black, Block 3701, Lot 3,

            64 Green Avenue, Madison, requesting permission to construct a 1 Story Addition (Sun Room)

            was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the next meeting.

 

            CASE NO. Z -04-31-Application of  Robert G. Van Hook, Block 0913, Lot 22,1 Hillview

            Avenue, Madison, requesting permission to construct a 1 Story Addition onto the existing

            single family dwelling was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized

            at the next meeting.

 

            CASE NO Z-04-32-Application of Dominick Ottomanelli, Block 2305, Lot 13, 10 Fletcher Place,

            Madison, requesting permission to construct a 1 Story Frame Addition onto the existing dwelling

            was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at the next meeting.

       NEW BUSINESS

       CASE NO. Z-04-34- Application of Gayle DeSimone, Block 4308, Lot 7, Alma Avenue,

       Madison, requesting permission to construct a 2 story dwelling located in a R-3 Zone

       District, requiring Variance relief for maximum principal building coverage and minimum

       side yard setback was carried to Monday, September 20, 2004. No further notice is required.

 

       CASE NO. Z-04-35- Application of Anthony S. Montagna, Block 3802, Lot 6, 30 1/2 Prospect

       Street, Madison, for a Conditional Use and Variance Approval to use the existing site as a

       Professional Office and residential apartment located in a R-4 Zone District. The application

       does not meet all of the requirements necessary for a conditional use contained in the Madison

       Borough Ordinance 195-33B(1), more specifically, Section 195-33B(1)(b) that the practitioner

       must reside in the home and Section 195-33B(1)d that states the home occupation shall not

       occupy more than 50% of the total area of the floor where located, excluding space used for

       a private garage or 900 square feet, whichever is smaller. The application was carried to Monday,

      September 20, 2004. No further notice is required.

 

      CASE NO. Z-04-36- Application of Michael J. and Elizabeth A. Jones, Block 4204, Lot 5,

      22 Midwood Terrace, Madison, requesting permission to construct two, 2-story additions onto

      the single family dwelling located in a R-1 Zone District, requiring Variance relief for minimum

      front yard setback (Prospect St,), minimum side yard setback, maximum principal building

      coverage and maximum impervious coverage was carried to Monday, September 20, 2004.

      No further notice is required.
