NOTICE OF DECISIONS

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at a regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment

of the Borough of Madison, held on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 , at 7:30 PM , in the Board Room

of the Hartley Dodge Memorial Building , Kings Road , Madison , New Jersey , the following

action was taken:

 

             Minutes for Approval

            Regular Meeting Minutes for 6/22/04 was adopted as corrected

            Special Meeting Minutes for 07/01/04 was adopted as corrected.

 

            Item for Discussion

            CASE NO. Z03-41-Amended Application for Madison Honda, Block 2208, Lots 23, 24

            and 25, 280 Main Street , Block 5101, Lot 24, 285 Main Street . At the request of the

            applicant, a special meeting was scheduled for Thursday, August 26, 2004 at 7:30 P.M.

            for continued proceedings on the amended application. No further notice is required. 

          

           UNFINISHED BUSINESS

           CASE NO. Z-04-06- Application of Bruce D. MacDougall, Block 1001, Lot 30, 68 Central

           Avenue, Madison requesting permission for the conversion of a building containing one

           dwelling unit and a plumbing business to a two-family dwelling. The application was approved

           subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized at a later date.

 

          CASE NO. Z-04-23- Application of William and Joan Johnson, Block 3601, Lot 32

          14 Green Hill Road , Madison requesting permission to construct a one-story addition, front porch,

          deck and detached garage was approved subject to certain conditions. Action to be memorialized

          at a later date.

 

         CASE NO. Z-04-20 Application of William J. and Julie A. McGurn, Block 0203, Lot 13,

         12 Forest Road , to construct a 1-1/2 story addition, wood deck and Driveway modifications on

         property located in a R-3 Zone District. The application was approved subject to certain conditions.

         Action to be memorialized at a later date.

 

         CASE NO. Z-03-57- Application of Robert Lyszczarz, Block 2401, Lot 1, 221 Main Street

         for Preliminary and Final Site Plan Approval, Use ("d") Variance and Dimensional Variances

         to convert an existing three-family dwelling into an office building and to construct a 880-sq.ft.

         addition to the existing structure to be occupied by a single tenant (Real Estate Office). To remove

         existing garage and construct an eight-car parking lot located in the CC (Community Commercial)

         Zone District. A determination was made that revisions to the application eliminated any

         (d) variance, thus depriving the Zoning Board of Adjustment of further jurisdiction over

         the application. The application was transferred to the Planning Board for site plan approval

         proceedings and any necessary "c" variance relief. The applicant is required to publish notice

         of the amended application and the assigned hearing date before the Planning Board and to serve

         notice to property owners within 200' of the subject property.

 

        OLD BUSINESS

        CASE NO. Z-04-26- Application of Leslie and Kathleen Hollander, Block 4804, Lot 15

        14 Barnsdale Road , Madison requesting permission to construct a one-story addition, second

        story Addition, Front Foyer, 2-level deck and Brick Paver Walkway. The application was

        carried to the August 16, 2004 meeting. No further notice is required.

      CASE NO. Z-04-27-Application of Michael and Katherine Dailey, Block 0803, Lot 3,

      20 West End Avenue , Madison requesting permission to construct a second story addition,

      one-story addition and FlagStone Patio was carried to the August 16, 2004 meeting. No

      further notice is required.

 

      CASE NO. Z-04-29-Application of Daniel and Madeline Baulig, Block 0906, Lot 9, 8 Longview

      Avenue, Madison , requesting permission to construct a second story addition was carried to the

      August 16, 2004 meeting. No further notice is required.

 

      NEW BUSINESS

      CASE NO. Z-04-30-Application of Nancy Northrup and Allen Black, Block 3701, Lot 3,

      64 Green Avenue , Madison , requesting permission to construct a 1 Story Addition (Sun Room)

      was carried to the August 16, 2004 meeting. No further notice is required.

 

       CASE NO. Z -04-31-Application of  Robert G. Van Hook, Block 0913, Lot 22,1 Hillview

       Avenue, Madison , requesting permission to construct a 1 Story Addition onto the existing

       single family dwelling was carried to the August 16, 2004 meeting. No further notice is required.

 

       CASE NO Z-04-32-Application of Dominick Ottomanelli, Block 2305, Lot 13, 10 Fletcher Place ,

       Madison , requesting permission to construct a 1 Story Frame Addition onto the existing dwelling

       was carried to the August 16, 2004 meeting. No further notice is required.
