6.  RESOLUTIONS FOR MEMORIALIZATION

     a) CASE NO. Z-07-48-Resolution granting the Variance Application of Joseph Seneca, Seneca

          Cooke Enterprises, LLC, Block 1107, Lots 15 & 16, 27 South Street, Madison, for the construction

          of a new two-family dwelling on Lot 16, Block 1107, with proposed parking in the rear of the building.

          Variance approval for proposed driveway/parking lot and existing pavement removal on property,

          requiring Variance relief from the maximum impervious lot coverage, minimum driveway setback,

          minimum lot width and minimum lot area within 125’ of R.O.W. requirements for adoption.

 

     b) CASE NO. Z-08-05- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Barry Burd, Block 0701,

         Lot 1.01, 198 Rosedale Avenue, Madison, to construct proposed 2nd story addition to be used as

         additional bedroom and/or sitting room over the attached garage on property, requiring Variance relief

         from the minimum right side yard setback requirements for adoption.

 

     c) CASE NO. Z-08-07- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Alex Sze, Block 4802, Lot 2,

         33 Barnsdale Road, Madison, to construct proposed wood deck with stairs in the rear yard on property,

         requiring Variance relief from the maximum impervious lot coverage and minimum rear yard setback

         requirements for adoption.

 

     d) CASE NO. Z-08-11- Resolution granting the Variance Application of Jack and Ellen Kranefuss,

         Block 0901, Lot 31, 49 Longview Avenue, Madison, to construct proposed 2 story addition, 1 story

         addition, patio reconfiguration, and front portico to the residence on property, requiring Variance relief

         from the minimum front yard setback and minimum side yard setback (Right) requirements for adoption.

 

7. OLD BUSINESS- APPLICATIONS

    CASE NO. Z-07-42- (Carried from 3/13/08 & 4/10/08 per the applicant’s request)

    Christopher and Kris Leone

    Block 2101, Lot 4

    20 Highland Avenue

   Application requesting permission to disturb areas of critical slope as per code 195-41.2.C in order to

   construct the proposed rear yard retaining wall on property located in a R-2 (Single Family Residential)

   Zone District, requiring Variance relief from the Critical Slope (25% or greater) Disturbance requirements.

   Application was amended to request permission to construct a retaining wall having a maximum height of

   approximately seven feet with an open fence on top approximately 4’ in height, or a combined height for the

   wall and fence of 6’ is permitted. Pursuant to Section 195-25.5B2. The application was carried from the

   March 13, 2008 and April 10, 2008 meeting per the applicant’s request for continuation of the public hearing

   that was started on the initial application at the special meeting on January 31, 2008.

  Application requesting permission to construct proposed 2nd story addition, 2 ½ story addition to the existing

  dwelling and driveway modifications on property located in a R-3 (Single Family Residential) Zone District,

  requiring Variance relief from the minimum front yard setback, maximum principal building coverage and

  maximum impervious lot coverage requirements. The application was partially heard and carried from the

  April 10, 2008 meeting for further proceedings.

   Application requesting permission to construct proposed 2nd story addition to the existing dwelling on

   property located in a R-3 (Single Family Residential) Zone District, requiring Variance relief from the

   minimum front yard setback requirements.

 

   CASE NO. Z-08-14

   Bruce and Loretta Simmons

   Block 2102, Lot 8

   42 Rosedale Avenue

   Application requesting permission for the construction of a wood framed roof, over the existing deck,

   attached to the rear of the house on property located in a R-2 (Single Family Residential) Zone District,

   requiring Variance relief from the maximum impervious lot coverage requirements.

 

9. OTHER BUSINESS- New Jersey Planning Officials Special Program May 29, 2008 

    Mandatory Training Programs for Planning and Zoning Board Members (Course is open

    only to board members who must qualify within 2008.) Registration will be handled through

    the Board Secretary.
