In addition to administering the WFNJ/GA
program (Work First New Jersey/General Assistance Program), the Madison welfare department also provides other emergency
assistance to Madison residents on a per case basis; this assistance is
based on funding availability. Residents should call the welfare office
with questions.
The Madison Welfare Department is a
certified Morris County NJ EASE
Access Point. The NJ EASE
program is an initiative of the New
Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and provides
information and referral services to senior citizens and/or their families
about various benefit programs.
