Florham Institute for Lifelong Learning
Professor Bruce Peabody visits the Madison Senior Center on Monday, February 27 at 10:30am to introduce area residents to FILL (Florham Institute for Lifelong Learning), a program at Fairleigh Dickinson University which promotes diverse educational, cultural, historical, and social opportunities available to older students.
FILL provides area seniors age 62+ and professionals in transition the opportunity to enrich their lives through adult education and recreational programs. Participants can enroll in special courses or traditional FDU undergraduate and graduate courses for credit or no-credit at greatly reduced fees. Alternatively, FILL participants can join RPI (Retired Persons Institute) to enroll in a variety of courses. One low fee covers any and all courses taken per semester.
In addition, participants have access to the college campus and all its facilities including the library, cafeteria, gym and pool. Students may also take advantage of trips to metropolitan area cultural sites, luncheons, special lecture series, concerts, and theater productions.
