MADISON RECREATION YOUTH TRACK PROGRAM

The Madison Recreation Department Youth Track program for boys and girls from Madison will have a registration on Saturday February 2, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Madison Recreation Center, 10 Maple Avenue (across from the Hartley Dodge Municipal Building, corner of Kings Road and Maple Avenue).

 

The program is for boys and girls born in 1999 through 8th grade. Plans are for practices to be held at the Madison High School on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, and meets against area teams in the Lakeland Junior Track League. 

 

Competition is broken into boys and girls events by age group. Events include various running distances, relays, jumps and shot put.

 

Registration fee is $30.00 payable at registration (checks payable to Madison Track).  Volunteers will be needed to assist in the program.  Interested individuals able to help should offer there assistance at the registration.
