Project Community Pride
28 Walnut Street
Madison, NJ 07940 (map)
Project Community Pride is committed to strengthening families in our communities by providing therapeutic intervention, mental health treatment, and advocacy.
The Borough of Madison and the other participating municipal agencies have partnered with the Madison Area YMCA to manage the Project Community Pride counseling services.
With the support of local police departments, Project Community Pride began over 30 years ago as a community wide effort to address the behavioral and emotional needs of at risk youth. With the help of the Madison Area YMCA, Project Community Pride continues this tradition of providing counseling to families and children.
Project Community Pride of the Madison Area YMCA is an important extension of youth development services for children, teens and their families throughout the Madison Area YMCA’s service area that was made possible through the collaboration of community leaders and a new partnership with the municipalities and School Districts of the Chathams, Florham Park and Madison.
Staff members include: Director Brigitte Kelly, LCSW; Program Specialist Lara Shaljian, LCSW; and Staff Clinician Justin Kennard, LCSW.
