ORDINANCE 1-2008

WHEREAS, Ordinance 35-2006 of the Borough of Madison appropriated $330,000.00 from the Electric Capital Improvement Fund for two bucket trucks for use by the Electric Department; and

WHEREAS, the Electric Utility Superintendent has recommended that the Borough amend the purpose of Ordinance 35-2006 to include miscellaneous equipment and accessories for the bucket trucks; and

WHEREAS, no additional funds are needed for this amended purpose; and

WHEREAS, the Borough Council has determined that the Borough should amend the purpose of Ordinance 35-2006 to include miscellaneous equipment and accessories for the bucket trucks.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Borough of Madison, in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey, as follows:

SECTION 1: Ordinance 35-2006 is amended to include miscellaneous equipment and accessories for the bucket trucks for use by the Electric Department.

SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect as provided by law.
