ORDINANCE 55-2005

ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF MADISON AMENDING CHAPTER 185 ENTITLED "VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC" OF THE BOROUGH CODE TO ESTABLISH NEW PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON ROSEDALE AVENUE

WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has recommended amending the parking restrictions on Rosedale Avenue to remove the no-parking restriction on the east side of Rosedale Avenue from Sherwood Avenue to Spring Garden Drive (northern end) and continue the no-parking restriction on the east side of Rosedale Avenue from Greenwood Avenue to Sherwood Avenue and to remove the following language from the parking restrictions on the west side of Rosedale Avenue from Parkside Avenue to Lewis Drive: "from April 15 through July 31; weekdays 3:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m.; Saturdays 8:00 a.m. through 12:00 noon" and to extend the no-stopping or standing restrictions along the west side of Rosedale Avenue from Sherwood Avenue to Lewis Drive; and

WHEREAS, the Borough Council has determined that Chapter 185 of the Madison Borough Code entitled "Vehicles and Traffic" should be amended in order to implement this change.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Council of the Borough of Madison, in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey, as follows:

SECTION 1: Section 185-29 of the Code of the Borough of Madison entitled "Schedule I: No Parking", is hereby amended to read as follows:
