The Registrar's Office at the Health Department located at 28 Walnut Street, Madison, NJ 07940 is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday except for posted holidays and during lunch hour between 1-2 p.m. There may also be times when the Registrar may be unavailable for a short time each day, as when picking up and delivering mail to the main office at Bayley-Ellard, but a note will be posted on the door.
All marriage license applicants should make an appointment with the Registrar by calling (973) 593-3079, Ext. 2.
