It all began with a mere thought.......
by Shannon Doody, Tom Nunn, & Joe Longo. The Morris Metro Fire Hockey Team started with a meeting at the  Mt. Kemble Fire Station No. 1, Springbrook Road, Morris Township, in October of 2000.
      
In attendance were Shannon, Tom, Joe, Brian Tappen, Jason Merrick, Craig Giannantonio and Morris County Hockey Legends Rich Mazzocchi & Bill Crutchlow. After arguments were settled about what type of  jersey the team was going to wear, the Morris Metro Hockey Team was established.

THE MORRIS METRO FIRE HOCKEY TEAM IS COMPRISED OF FIREFIGHTERS FROM
Madison, Morris Township, Morristown, Newark, Florham Park, East Hanover & Millburn.

Morris & Essex Counties, are located in North-Eastern New Jersey.  From West to East shown are Morristown, Madison, Milburn and Newark.  The Morris Metro hockey team is composed of firefighters from the Morris / Essex area who all have a common interest in playing hockey.  Anyone interested in playing with the team should click on email link above.
