The
Fire Prevention Bureau conducts over 500 inspections annually, and
is involved with a building right from the drawing board to ensure
fire code enforcement of all buildings, new or existing. The
bureau is also responsible for providing fire safety education to
1,000 elementary school children. Tips on fire safety are given to
baby sitting classes, as well as senior citizens.
Madison
requires smoke detectors along with Carbon Monoxide detectors in all dwelling units. Please contact the
