Approximately one hundred spectators looked on as Madison Fire Department members were joined by firefighters from neighboring fire departments.  Firefighters dressed in full dress uniform led by the fire department honor guard and bagpiper marched to their new home located at the Madison Public Safety Complex.

Active department personnel were joined by retired personnel and inactive life members in additional to
fire chiefs from surrounding communities.  A salute is paid to the Hartley Dodge Memorial Building.

Fire Department personnel marched north on Waverly Place, past the 1903 Firehouse located on Central Avenue.  The department honor guard led the march followed by fire apparatus, mayor and council.

Chatham Borough, Cedar Knolls, Whippany, Green Village, New Vernon, East Hanover,
Morris Plains and the Morris County Fire Marshall were in attendance.
