Avenue ~ June 13th 2006 Perth Amboy Ladder 2 was on-hand, providing a demonstration of their recently acquired E-One aerial platform. P.A.F.D. Ladder 2 responded as the first due truck. |

Chief Atchison arrived on scene and assumed command. Engine 2 reported a smoke condition on the first and second floors. Further investigation found a fire in the basement. Engine 2's crew stretched a hose line to the rear of the structure with assistance from members of P.A.F.D. ladder 2. The small fire, which was caused by oily rags placed in a garbage can, was extinguished quickly. |

9th 2004 The truck had blew a tire and driven up the highway embankment and collided with the Greenwood Avenue overpass. The driver was removed from the truck by Fire and EMS personnel and transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Approximately 2000 gallons of sewage was dispersed along the highway and the street above, while the tank remained half full. Whippany F.D Haz-Mat Team and the Morris County Haz-Mat Team provided assistance. The New Jersey State Police contacted a septic tank Co. to remove the remainder of the sewage from the tank. Fire units remained on scene until 0114hrs. |

Greenwood Avenue & Ridgedale Avenue ~
May 10th 2004 The cans held gasoline that had been taken out of the tank in the owner's truck, which was under repair inside the gas station's garage. The fire completely destroyed the gas station's garage, totaled the truck and damaged the adjacent office Madison firefighters are shown venting the roof. Whippany & East Hanover Fire Departments also assisted the Florham Park Fire Department. |
