Downtown Development Commission
Welcome New Members!
The Madison Downtown Development Commission (DDC) is a committee comprised of volunteer commissioners, representative merchants, residents, landlords, seniors, and other stakeholders that dedicate their time and energy into making positive improvements throughout Madison's commercial district.
The DDC supports Madison’s business district in many ways and organizes various promotions including Bottle Hill Day, May Day in Madison, Taste of Madison, and the Madison Farmers' Market.
The DDC has four standing committees that work throughout the year: University Relations, Public Improvement, Parking, and Sign & Façade.
In addition, the DDC works closely with the Madison Chamber of Commerce, the Historic Preservation Commission, Madison Arts & Culture Alliance (MACA), and other key groups to enhance the beauty and ambiance of Madison’s shopping areas.
