ELECTRIC UTILITY STUDY COMMITTEE

From the Regular Minutes of February 11, 2008:

Appoint Electric Utility Study Committee

Mr. Conley advised that he does not have names for the Water Utility Study Committee, but commented on the process he envisions happening this year; having done research, it appears that the Committees were appointed over the past 20 years as a short-term task; Mr. Conley felt it is worthwhile to keep them as possibly a single Utility Advisory Committee; have a narrow focus or expand it to Utilities as a whole and come up with a new name for the Electric Utility Study Committee; with that in mind, Mr. Conley nominated Michael L. Bugg of Union Hill Road, Susanne Patenaude of Beech Avenue, Ronald A. Poeter of Shunpike Road, Alan Sawyer of Fox Chase Road, Herbert C. Worthington of Noe Avenue and Paul Heitmann of Forest Road as volunteers, and as Borough representatives, the Administrator, Chief Financial Officer, Electric Utility Superintendent and Council Liaison Robert H. Conley.

Mr. Conley moved the foregoing appointments. Mrs. Vitale seconded the motion. Mr. Conley commented that there is an additional name that may be put forward. There was no further discussion and the motion passed with the following roll call vote recorded:
