NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that SEALED QUOTES will be received by the Borough of Madison, Morris County, New Jersey, in the Planning Board Room, 2nd Floor, Hartley Dodge Memorial, 50 Kings Road, Madison, New Jersey on FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2008 AT 11:00 A.M. prevailing time, and at that time will be publicly opened and read for RELOCATION (MOVING) SERVICES. Quote prices shall remain firm for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days.

A Pre-Quote Walk-through of both sites will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 starting at 10:00 A.M. (vendors are requested to arrive BEFORE 10:00 A.M.) at the Hartley Dodge Memorial (HDM), 50 Kings Road, Madison, NJ (enter through center doors of building). Upon completion, we will proceed to Bayley-Ellard High School (BEHS), 205 Madison Avenue, Madison, NJ. Vendors need to supply their own transportation from HDM to BEHS. It is highly recommended that all vendors interested in quoting this project attend this Pre-Quote Walk-through.

All quotes must be submitted on the Quote Forms furnished by the Borough. Quotes on any other forms will not be accepted. Quote documents and specifications are available for NO CHARGE at the Borough Clerk's Office, Hartley Dodge Memorial, 50 Kings Road, Madison, NJ from 8:00 A.M. 4:30 P.M., Monday Friday.

SEALED QUOTES shall be addressed to the Borough Clerk, Borough of Madison, Hartley Dodge Memorial, 50 Kings Road, Madison, New Jersey 07940. Each Quote must be enclosed in a SEALED ENVELOPE, properly endorsed with the name of the Vendor, with the designation "BOROUGH OF MADISON, SEALED QUOTE, RELOCATION (MOVING) SERVICES, FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2008, 11:00 A.M.". Any envelope that is received that is not properly marked causing it to be opened prior to the quote opening time will be invalidated. Quotes may be received before the hour designated in this office, if they are mailed or hand delivered in person. The Borough of Madison will not be responsible for any quote that is sent by mail or other form of carrier which is lost or which arrives after the quote date and time, FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2008, 11:00 A.M.

Vendors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.

The Borough of Madison reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to waive any informalities therein and to accept any quote that will be in the best interest of the Borough of Madison, New Jersey. The Borough of Madison reserves the right to make separate purchase awards for various sizes and kinds of materials or equipment required, based on the low unit quotes submitted on such items.

The Borough of Madison reserves the right to delete sections of work from the contract after the award of the project has been made due to funding or other reasons. The prices quoted for various items of work shall not be adjusted due to the deletion of any work due to the variation of any quantity for the various items scheduled in the Proposals.
