Welcome to the Home Page of the Madison (New Jersey)
Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW.)

We invite you to browse our website to learn more about the AAUW, its goals, mission and accomplishments and more specifically about the Madison Branch.

The Borough of Madison is a suburban community in the North Central area of NJ, just 15 miles west of New York City.  Early in its history Madison had a flourishing rose growing industry which is still commemorated in its nick-name of Rose CityToday, it has a population of approximately 16,000.

We are proud of our community.  It is the home of three colleges; Drew University, the Madison-Florham Park campus of Fairleigh Dickenson University and the College of St. Elizabeth.   In its four square mile area it also hosts the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, the Playwright’s Theater of New Jersey, the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts, and the Adult School of Chatham, Madison and Florham Park.

Membership is open to women with an associate or equivalent degree.
