T - CAP DAY !
Be at the senior center on Wednesday, October 12 from 10:00- 2:00 for T-CAP Day, a chance to help
make the “Hug Your Head TCaps” created from t-shirts that are given to chemotherapy patients.
Tables for cutting patterns, sewing turbans and decorating them will be set up and volunteers will be
on hand to provide instructions. By day’s end we hope to have an ample supply ready for delivery
to the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center
Sewers who can bring portable sewing machines are especially welcome.
Call the center at 973-593-3095 to sign up or to donate washed t-shirts, thread, earrings, pins,
scarves, ribbons and other decorative items.

Another morning of relaxation and enjoyment is on the calendar. The response to coloring sessions has been good and it will now be a monthly event. Colored pencils, pictures and beverages provided at no cost. Spend the morning reducing stress and anxiety while improving your mood and self-expression.
